in Law Admission
Admission Requirements:
1. Holding a bachelor degree in Law or Shariah from an Egyptian university or an equivalent
degree from an institution accredited by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities.
2. Holding a Master Degree in Law from an Egyptian university or an equivalent degree from
an academic institution accredited by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities.
3. PhD specialization should be the same as of the Master’s degree specialization.
4. Submitting an English or French proficiency certificate from an accredited center before the
thesis defense.
Admission Requirements:
1- Original Bachelor and Master degree certificate.
2- Original birth certificate
3- Application form.
4- Copy of ID or passport (for non-Egyptians).
5- 2 recent photos.
6- Military status.
7- Employer’s approval letter.
8- Bachelor & Master degree letter of accreditation for graduates of non-Egyptian universities
from the Supreme Council of Universities.
9- A letter of acceptance from the student’s cultural mission (for non-Egyptians).
Education System:
The program consists of 6 semesters:
- Courses during the first 2 semesters
• First semester: 3 courses (9 credit hours).
• Second semester: 3 courses (9 credit hours).
- Thesis (30 credit hours).
• Third & fourth semester (15 credit hours).
• Fifth & sixth semester (15 credit hours).
Admissions
2 annual Intakes per year:
- Spring intake: February/ Application Deadline 28th of February.
- Fall intake: October/ Application deadline 30th October.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are calculated as follows: (48 credit hours – 6 semesters)
- Egyptians: 1200 L.E. for each course credit hour and 1440 L.E. for each Thesis credit hour.
- Non-Egyptians (Self-financed): 512$ for each course credit hour and 613$ for each Thesis
credit hour.
Doctorate in Law
Program: A joint degree between Alexandria University & Arab Academy for Science,
Technology and Maritime transport in: • Commercial & Maritime Law. • Public
International Law of the sea. • Private International Law. • Economics & Financial
Sciences. • Civil & Commercial Procedures Law.
