In the G.Os 1 to 8 read above orders were issued among others stipulating the
procedure for selection of Doctors for filling up of entry level vacancies under the
control of Director of Medical Education, Director of Public Health & Family
Welfare and Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad. In order to
select meritorious candidates in an objective manner, it is considered necessary to
review the selection procedure so as to maintain consistency and uniformity in the
matter of recruitment for filling up of entry level vacancies under the control of Director
of Medical Education, Director of Public Health and Commissioner of A.P. Vaidya
Vidhan Parishad depending upon the requirements of the Hospitals under each of the
Heads of the Departments.
2. Accordingly, Government in supersession of the orders issued with regard to
selection process hitherto followed, hereby orders that the procedure for selection as
mentioned below shall be followed by each of the Head of the Department
concerned for selection of Doctors for filling up of entry level vacancies under the
control of Director of Medical Education, Director of Public Health & Family Welfare and
Commissioner of A.P. Vaidya Vidhana Parishad: -
CRITERIA Weightage (Total Marks 100)
HoD wise
APVVP / DME / APVVP
DPH&FW (General (Specialists)
MBBS / CAS / DAS)
Aggregate of Marks
obtained in all the years in 75% 65% for PG Diploma

Additional qualification -- 10% for PG Degree
Weightage for experience Upto 15% Upto 15%

3. The Director of Medical Education, Director of Public Health & Family Welfare and
Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad shall take necessary action
accordingly.
4. This order issues with the concurrence of State Election Commission, A.P. Hyderabad.
