CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 OVERVIEW

In most of organizations the informational work flow is done with more manual work.
That is time consuming and not most reliable as the accuracy may very per head. And

Though in some economically rich organizations customized software is being used, they
also face difficulties.

The main problem in using different software in each course is that the software is
specially developed for that course and so the formation of information is according to
that particular course only. This scheme definitely grows the process speed and efficiency
but the problem will occur when we see whole system. The synchronization of that
information with other course is not possible or very hard to achieve.

As we go to next point is the unavailability of the information. As there is no central


database storing whole data about the organizations, when any member of staff needs the
information about student from other course
information is not shared and available globally.

This system provides the central database so every staff member can access the
information for every student and manage the student data for organizations. It has some
features like.

a) This is our system which provides facility to admin to manage institute.

b) Admin manage the organization courses, faculties, councillor and student.

c) This system provides facility of fee collection, result declaration, manage exam
schedule and day to day activities to councillor.

d) Students are aware with day to day lecture activities and they can also see fee
details, material, exam and result details.

e) Faculty can take online attendance and assign project to student as well update
material and day to day lecture activities.

1.2 OBJECTIVE OF THE WORK

The main objective of the system for organization is to efficiently manage the resources
of an organization. The software system that is going to be implemented on the
organization must be able to help make organization
possible.

It is being developed to make the day to day operations of an organization computerize in


order to save time and resources. The system should be able to organize, store and use the
information that is relevant to the organization.

a) To design a cost effective Technical Education Management System.

b) To use the latest IT tools and Internet/Intranet technology to manage student


data.

c) To save the precious time of official Staff of Faculty Dept.

d) To automate the records of all the queries and follow ups etc. about the
students.
