Course Description
This course is designed to provide students with the basic principles of management.
This course will provide an overview to organizational and management process in the
construction industry. Emphasis will also be given to the planning techniques adopted in
construction projects. Students will also be introduced to various project management
software commonly used in construction planning.
Syllabus Content
2. Skills and attributes of project managers and their importance in the construction
industry: planning, controlling, organizing delegating, motivating, communication
and leading.
