SUBJECT : AUTHORITY TO PRACTICE PROFESSION

Consistent with the provisions of CSC Memorandum Circular No. 15, series of 1999,
you are hereby authorized to practice your profession in the field of law and related
services in private capacity provided that:

1. Said activity shall be done strictly outside office hours and shall not in any way
interfere with performance of your official duties nor your presence at the DSWD
during regular working hours and at any time when the exigencies of the service
require such;

2. No government funds, property nor personnel shall be used in the furtherance of

said private practice;

3. That your official duties shall be given priority over your private practice;

4. The private practice activity shall not in any way conflict or tend to conflict with
your official functions or be found prejudicial to the best interest of the service;

5. Other relevant policies and regulations of the office relative to this authority to
practice profession shall be observed; and

6. This authority shall be renewable every year subject to at least very satisfactory
performance rating for the immediately preceding one year rating period prior to
renewal. It may, however, be revoked at any time without prejudice to the filing of
appropriate charges if you are found in probable violation of the aforementioned
conditions and other relevant rules and regulations.
