having a stroke or bone fracture. The Covington Church of the Brethren will host Life Line

After a one year hiatus, Hoffman United Methodist Church of West Milton will be holding their
Quilt Show October 8-13. This is a part of their 175th Anniversary Celebration to be held October
10. Participation is open to the public and, at this time, is limited to one quilt per participant. Quilts
may be traditional or contemporary, functional or decorative.

Dick Minnich Charity Golf Classic Winners
The Covington Noon Optimist Club completed their 22nd annual Dick Minnich Charity Golf Classic
on August 10. The tournament took place at Shelby Oaks Golf Course in Sidney, with over 100 golfers
participating in the event. The tournament has now raised over $85,000 for the youth of Covington.
