*Goals:

 To be use for the projection of the increase of traffic volume for the upcoming years in
Malalag due to the on-going and upcoming development of the municipality

 To be used as a reference for planning and design of the coastal road and as a guide as
well if ever there will be changes in the said plan while the study is ongoing.

 To be used as basis for the placement of the proposed coastal road and to be used for
the continuation of the road from the starting point from the junction of the
provincial highway and the road going to the port

*Goals:

 To determine the impact for the risk of the sea level rise to the coast

 To determine the highest level of the Malalag bay it can reach and this also a factor for
the determination of the elevation for the road and seawall

 To determine the days of high tide and low tide

*Time Frame: 1 day

*Activities Involved:

 Compose a letter of request for the acquisition of data from NAMRIA

 Submit the letter of request to the office of NAMRIA

 Wait for about 15 days to receive the requested data (usually for Government Offices)

4. ROAD SURVEY

 *Person/s Involved: Proponents of the Project

*Goal: To determine the route of the proposed coastal road

*Time Frame: 2 weeks (4th week of December)

 Provide SURVEY INSTRUMENTS for the conduction of ROAD SURVEY

 Provide snacks and transportation

5. RECONNAISSANCE SURVEY

*Person/s Involved: Proponents of the project

*Goal: To determine the route of the Proposed Coastal Road

*Time Frame: 1 day (December 8, 2017)

*Malalag Contribution:

 Provide GPS for the conduction of the initial tagging

 Provide a tour guide from the Engineering Office that know the route for the proposed
coastal road

*Activities Involved:

 Initial tagging of the road route (Using GPS)

HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY

*to determine the depth of water on the part which the road will be constructed, also to
determine the contour of the sub-ocean terrain.
