brothers or sisters?”

Becky: It’s almost the same, simply replace “sister” with “brother.” Now say, “I have a
brother.”

Becky: For more practice, replace “brother” with “younger sister.”

Becky: “younger sister”, a female sibling who was born after you.

Eric: (slow) younger sister (regular) younger sister

Becky: Listen to the phrase again, this time with “younger sister.”

Becky: Again, we just replace “brother” with “younger sister.” Now say, “I have a
younger sister.”

Becky: Now let’s replace “younger sister” with “younger brother.”

Becky: “younger brother”, a male sibling who was born after you.

Becky: “Only child” means “someone who has no siblings” Let's hear it slowly.

Becky: And one more time at normal speed.

Eric: No, I don't. I’m an only child”

Becky: Now it's time for a quiz. Imagine you’re visiting the United States and someone
asks you if you have any brothers or sisters. You want to say you have a sister. How
would you answer?

Eric: Do you have any brothers or sisters? (five seconds) I have a sister.

Becky: Now imagine you have a brother. Respond to the question.

Eric: Do you have any brothers or sisters? (five seconds) I have a brother.

Becky: Imagine you have a younger sister. What would you say?

Becky: Imagine you have a younger brother. How would you answer?
