Activity Description- How will you explain to your participants how the activity will go?

Task Analysis guidelines will help you with this part of the assignment.
1. Everyone stands in a circle and the leader is in the middle.
2. You first teach the group various poses of the game, each should use three people.
There are tons of poses and you can make up your own, but here are a few:
• Speedy rabbit- the two-side people face out to make the shape of the ears, and
the middle person puts his or her hands in front of them like paws.
• Screaming Viking-the two-side people make rowing motions on the outside,
and the middle person bangs their fists on their chest yelling.
• Girl Scout- the two-side people put their arms up on a diagonal and lean in to
make a house, and the middle person crouches down and says, “want a
cookie?”
3. The leader points to one person in the circle, and then that person, and the person on
either side of them needs to make the pose that you say, by the count of 10 seconds.
4. If someone messes up, makes the wrong pose, moves when they were not supposed
to, they become the new leader.

Primary interaction pattern(s) (activity analysis) – Explain why you chose the pattern
or patterns you chose.
The primary interaction pattern for this activity is unilateral. Unilateral social interaction
pattern is when three or more people goes competitive, and leaving only one person the
antagonist to how we called it the “it” person. I choose this pattern because the leader that
stands in the middle will be defined as the “it” person, where he and she will try to go against
the people forming the circle. The “it” person will point out and to one person, while the
either person beside them must figure out how to do the poses in a quickly and efficient
manner. There will be interactions among everyone involving in this activity.

Adaptation: One researched adaptation specific to a disability group. Be specific. For

example, saying someone has anger issues is not a disorder. However, a person with
anger issues might be diagnosed with conduct disorder. You may not use a particular
disability or disorder more than one time.
This form of activity can be adapted to social anxiety disorder. Social anxiety disorder is
one of the common type of anxiety disorder. It is an anxiety or fear of being judged,
evaluated negatively, humiliated or rejected in a social situation. With this activity, this can
cause more social interaction with the players around. Of course, there will be players who
will mess up in the activity, but the point is to help players let down their inhibitors and to
just have fun and laugh with everyone in the group. Try to enjoy this fun experience while
you are working together with your partners. This will feel like everyone is included and
don’t have to worry about placing a judgement on them. This will help conquer the social
anxiety.
