The flow of stock trading

Step 1: Select a stock
Step 2: Decide a stock and the number of shares to order
Step 3: Prepare the fund
Step 4: Place an order
Step 5: Confirm your order
Step 6: Become shareholder

Step1: Select a stock

Please select the stock that you want to buy, for example, from a company in which you have an interest, a
familiar company, a good dividend company.
Before deciding the stock to buy, it is important to gather information about stock price, news and business results
and to research the company’s details. We provide updated contents and tools.

Search stock price

Enter the company name, etc. then search, and you can check the stock price, news about your stocks,

dividends, business results, technical stock charts and so on.

Market information

You can see the various market information such as domestic and overseas index, exchange rates, news,
research reports, and market commentaries.

Step 2: Decide a stock and the number of shares to order

Let’s decide on the number of shares to order. The minimum trading lot is depending on the stock price. Minimum
lot is the lowest amount of stock you are allowed to trade.

The Board Lot table of PSE

Trading of stocks is done by board lot or round lot system. The Board Lot Table determines the minimum number
of shares one can purchase or sell at a specific price range. Therefore, the minimum amount needed to invest in
stocks varies and will depend on the market price of the security as well as its corresponding board lot.

1
Prices of stocks move through a scale of set price fluctuations. Prices are thus adjusted along these fluctuations
at a time. Transactions which are beyond the prescribed number of maximum fluctuations from the last sale price
are not allowed.

dividends and you need to pay attention to the amount of dividend, which could change or suspend.

After becoming shareholder,

Buying stocks is just the initial phase in stock investing. The stock price may change daily. Monitoring the stock
prices is also essential. Selling order is essentially the same as a buy order. The amount of settlement will be
deposited to the trading account on the 3rd business days.
