1 Overview
The AAU5271 is an active antenna system (AAS) product and is a new type of the RF module.
The AAS integrates functions of RRUs and antennas, saving site resources and supporting
3D-MIMO functions.
AAU5271 provides 64 RF channels and supports massive MIMO.

2.4 Capacity
The AAU5271 supports a maximum of three carriers.
As recommended in 3GPP TS 36.104, LTE receiver sensitivity is measured under a 5 MHz channel
bandwidth based on the FRC A1-3 in Annex A.1 standard, where the modulation scheme is QPSK (R =
1/3) and the system bandwidth is 25 resource blocks (RBs).
Typical power consumption is measured when the ambient temperature is 25 °C and the AAU5271 is
100% loaded. The actual typical power consumption has a 10% deviation from this value.
