Chapter 1 Introduction
It is highly recommended that you check all the functions that the device supports before using the pro-
gram. This manual will guide you through the essential information of how to use this application pro-
gram.
iBall Claro TV is a multi-functional, graphical and easy-to-use application software that offers you the
most comprehensive multimedia entertainment enjoyment.

1.2 TV Setup
When you run iBall Claro TV software for the first time, the system will guide you through the necessary
steps of channel scanning.

4. Please select the country you live and then click
“Scan”.
1.3 FM Setup
1. Click on “Default Table” option. It will copy default Indian FM Channels to Channel list. You can
access and play Indian FM channel directly from the Channel list.

2. If you want to scan more frequencies other than Indian FM channels, Select the country you live and
click on “Scan” for available frequencies. You can also select one from the options “0.05”, “0.1” & “0.2”.
If you select “0.05”, it will scan the frequency in the gap of 0.05MHz. Similarly, it will scan in the gap of
0.1MHz and 0.2MHz if the other option selected.

Chapter 2 Analog TV
You can watch live Analog TV with iBall Claro TV software. Once you have done your initial setup
(source input and channel scan), you can enjoy watching and recording TV program with this mul-
ti-functional software application.
Note: Make sure your device supports analog signal in order to watch analog TV.

Capture: Click to capture the scenes you like. Once you capture the scene, it is saved in your Video Path.

If you’d like to stop capture, right click on the screen and then enable “Stop Capture”.
Time Shifting: This icon enables Time-shifting function once clicked. Time Shifting function records the
TV program you are currently watching.
This function enables you to pause/fast-forward/rewind TV shows so you won’t miss any part when you
left the show for something else. Control buttons define as table below.

Snapshot: You can click the “Snapshot” icon to take snapshots. When the screen shows “Snapshot OK”,
it means the image has been successfully capture and saved in your default path.
Channel-preview: Channel list preview from the beginning. You can set preview format and interval in
Setup page (Refers to Chapter 7(7.2.7)).
When you right click on the TV screen, you will get below menu options.
Always On Top: Enables iBall Claro TV to remain on top of all other application windows. It is the same
if you click on the “Always On Top” at the upper right corner of the regular TV mode window.

Display Ratio: You can adjust your display ratio when you move your mouse cursor to the arrow at the
right of this option. There are Free, 4:3, 16:9 and Apply To All Channel. It is the same as you click on the
“Display Ratio” function icon on the interface.
Free: The initial ratio when you start iBall Claro TV and you can adjust it by dragging the edge of the
iBall Claro TV window..
Apply To All Channels: If you select this option, the adjusted display ratio will be applied to all of your
available channels.
Preview Window: You can change your TV viewing screen to Full Screen, Sizable Screen or Borderless
Screen.
Source input: Select the Source input from Antenna, Cable, Composite and SVideo.
Channel List Type: There are two types of Channel List Type – Normal or My Favorite. You can select
which type to load your channel list. It is the same as you do in the Channel List on Setting page. The de-
fault is Normal.

Channel List: Displays your available channels. It’s the same as you open the Channel Setting.
Channel Preview: You can decide which type of channel preview – 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, L Type or Circle
Type.
Time Shifting: Enable Time Shifting mode. It is the same as you click on the Time Shifting icon on the
main interface.
Snapshot: Activate Snapshot function to take the Snapshot. You can also do the same if you click on the
Snapshot icon on the main interface.

Teletext: It is the text information from PAL or digital problems. It is Text message for program. The text
information is hidden at around 20-25 scanning lines.
Hide Panel: Hide or show the control panel (the iBall Claro TV interface)
Switch to Gadget Mode: When you click on “Switch to Gadget Mode”, it will open the TV screen in
small size at uppermost right corner of your monitor/LCD.
Chapter 3 FM Radio
You can listen to live FM radio with iBall Claro TV. Once you have done your initial setup (source input
and channel scan), you can enjoy listening and recording radio program with this multi-functional soft-
ware application.

3.2 Radio Panel

Capture: Click on record button to capture your favourite FM music while recoeding, press the record
button again to stop recording.
Time Shifting: This icon enables Time Shifting function once clicked. Time Shifting function records the
FM channel you are currently listening.
Audio/Mute Mode: Change Audio mode to Mute mode and Mute mode to Audio mode.
Please refer to item 2.3 in Chapter 2. There are fewer options than TV mode and all functions are the same.

Chapter 4 Video Input
You can import additional Video source to iBall Claro TV through Composite Video or S-Video input.
Once you connect your device, Video source and PC together, iBall Claro TV will auto-detect source cat-
egory. You can easily enjoy DVD or other media by iBall Claro TV even record to your PC or laptop di-
rectly.

Capture: You can choose to capture the Video scenes in different format.
Snapshot: Activate Snapshot function to take the Snapshot. You can also do the same if you click on the

Chapter 5 Playback
When you click on this icon , it will open the path or folder. Click on arrow mark near folder icon to
open the list of recorded files. You can select one file or the continuous play.

Add: add a selected file to the playlist at the bottom half of the window
Play: play the selected file that are on the playlist at the bottom half of Playback
When you selected a file for playback, iBall Claro TV will plays the video for you in another screen.
Chapter 6 Photo
When you click on the photo icon, it will open the panel with the preview of all photos you have captured.
You can press to go to first photo and to go to last photo. Press Exit to close the photo
mode.

Channel 7 Schedule Recording
You can set the time and program for your recording schedule. The system will automatically record the
program for you when the time is reached. When you click the Schedule-record icon, you will see a win-
dow like the picture below.
7.1 Schedule List: You can “Add”, “Edit”, “Delete” or “Clear” your schedule recording list.
Note: If you didn’t add any new schedule, the list would be empty.

Capture Setting
S.R.P.O: schedule record in power-off. When you activate this function, the system will go into a hiber-
nation mode before the time you set for recording. The system will “wake up” to start the sched-
uled recording around 3 ~ 5 minutes before the time you set for schedule recording. Please be
noted that power-off means the system will go into hibernation, and make sure your computer
system supports Hibernation in order to enable this function.
7.2 Setting: You can setup for “Save Path”, “File Name Setting” and “System Option”

Save Path: You configure the “Save Path” for your recorded file by click on “Select”.
File Name Setting: There are two choices for “File Name Setting”: “Use datetime formats file name” and
“Use Specific Name”. The “Use datetime formats file name” is the default. All the
file that you want to save will be named in a date-time manner, such as
“20090512_XXXX” for instance. Users can input any specific name for their files in
“Use specific name”.
System Option: you may define the system option after record. The defaultis ‘No Action”. You can set
“Close Application”, “Shutdown” etc.
7.3 Log: the log shows the information of your scheduled recording if you have set any recording
schedule.

Chapter 8 Setup
In iBall Claro TV, you can simply make settings as your favorite in Setup page. Since iBall Claro TV has
been launched, click Setup button to access Setup page.
You can find Sleep Timer, Scan Setting, User Interface and Other options, in Setup page. Those can help
you to improve your power saving, scanning adjustment, colorful UI, language and location.
You might watch TV but get sleepy after minutes later or leave your TV for emergency. For any specific
reason, you would like to ask iBall Claro TV to help you on something. There are 5 options, Close Appli-
cation, Log off, Hibernate, Shutdown, and Reboot for setting. Besides, you can move time shuttle left or
right to adjust time period.

8.1.2 Scan Setting.

8.1.4 Other.
It has all the option as General settings. Also it has many advanced settings like Marquee, Teletext Set-
ting, Channel Setting, Display Ratio Setting, OSD Setting, Video Setting, Time Shifting Setting, Cap-
ture Setting, Snapshot Setting, Channel List Setting and Multi View Setting.
Here we can set the properties of the marquee such as moving distance, interval, the content, and so on.
After setting, one scrolling box rotate on the screen after the set period.

8.2.2 Teletext Setting.
It is the text information from PAL or digital problems. It is Text message for program. The text informa-
tion is hidden at around 20-25 scanning lines.
Here we can input the teletext main page and sub page, or use the color button to switch teletext page.
Here we can set the channel preview type, preview interval, channel group, and channel management.
You can also set favorite channel & parental Lock it.

8.2.4 Display Ratio Setting.
Here we can set the display ratio and apply default to all channels.

8.2.5 On- Screen Display (OSD) Setting.
Here we can set the OSD color, show or not, and adjust the position, the font color.
Here we can adjust the Colour mode, Brightness, Contrast, Hue, Saturation, Sharpness and the VMR type.

8.2.7 Time Shifting Setting.
Here we can decide to save the file or not, while using Time Shifting option.
Here we can set where to save the file, the captured file name, or set the capture stream type.

8.2.9 Snapshot Setting.
Here we can set the snapshot file format, where to save the images and the how many images will be
saved when using the snapshot function.
Here we can set to Show All Channels or favorite channels or not to show favorite channel. Select “Auto
Show Quick channel list” option will show channel lists besides TV panel.
