CRICKET GENERAL RULES

1. The tournament is 11 a side tournament.
2. Each team must consist of minimum 11 players and maximum of 13 players.
3. All the players of the teams should be a member of MGOS Valliyapally.
4. Registration fees of the tournament is 2000 INR.
5. The team will only be considered registered after getting the registration form and
registration fees from the respective team captains.
6. Teams will be formed on the basis of ward wise as every year.
7. Small wards can merge with each other to form a team.
8. Tournament will start from 26th January at Basil School ground.
9. Last date for registration of the team is 24th of January.

GAME RULES
 Matches would be of 10 overs only.
 Final match would be of 12 overs.
 Only One bowler can bowl 3 overs during the league stage.
 Wicketkeeper is compulsory and it would be the responsibility of the fielding team
to see to it.
 New balls will be used in both the innings of the match.
 For every no-balls free hit would be awarded to the batting team.
 Extra run includes ( Wide, No-balls, Byes, Leg-Byes)
 Overthrow runs would be counted.
 Throw Bowling decision would be given by the On-field Umpires only.
 Batsman will have to approach the on-field umpires for throw ball issues.
 For any on field issues only the captain of the team can approach the organizers
and umpires. No other player would be allowed to argue on any issue.
 A sports panel has been formed which consist of 3 members who are the members
of the MGOCSM Baroda unit. For any unsolved problem during the games their
decision would be counted as the final.
 Umpires decision would be considered as the final during the game.
 No arguments would be counted once the decision given by the umpire.
 Any player or Team found misbehaving during the tournament would be directly
disqualified from the tournament; decision would be taken by the organizers and
the sports panel together.
