DATE...
All the materials were visually checked for good workmanship and finish and were found
satisfactory.
Verification of Dimension:
The dimensions were checked with the approved drawings and found satisfactory within
the prescribed tolerance limits except few minor deviations against which fresh drawings
are enclosed.
RESULTS :
3.
Movement Test (on Flexible Spacers) :
Bersimis ACSR Conductor were tensioned at 40 KN on the set up and samples of
flexible spacers were installed on the same.
A longitudinal movement of + 50 mm in a direction parallel to the conductor was applied
with respect to the conductor.
A vertical movement at right angles to the conductor +25 mm was applied to the
assembly under test.
A torsional movement + 5 degree was applied in a parallel plane to the conductor.
Results obtained are noted as below :

9. Galvanising Test:
a) Visual examination of Fasteners samples was cartied out for general finish and found
satisfactory.
b) Fasteners were subjected to Dip test into copper sulphate of sp.gr.1.186 at 20 Deg C
for 4 successive dips of 1 minute duration each and no copper deposition was found.
¢) Pivot Hammer Test was carried out for adhesion of Zinc coating and no peeling or
‘scaling or coating was found.
d) Coating thickness was measured and found to be between 52-68 Microns.
) Wt. of Zinc coating was measured on samples & found between 365 to 435 gm/ Sq M.
10. Sealing
