1. Bill of Rights - Also known as "Charter of Liberty"
- Declaration and enumeration of one's basic rights and privileges w/c the Consitution is designed to protect against violations of the government, or by an individual or groups - 2. Civil rights - Rights which the law will enforce at the instance of private individuals for the purpose of securing them the enjoyment of their means of happiness 3. Classification - Political rights of - Civil rights constitutional - Social and economic rights rights - Rights of the accused 5. Constitutional - Rights that are conferred and protected by the Constitution, they cannot be modified or taken away by the law- rights making body 6. Natural rights - Every citizen w/o being granted by the State for they are given to man by God as a human being created to His image so that he may live a happy life. (In-short, the rights of a human being like right to life, right to property, etc.) 7. Political rights - Rights of the citizen which gives them the power to participate, directly or indirectly, the establishment or administration of the government (Among these rights are the Right of Citizenship and Right of Suffrage and the right to information on matters of public concern) 8. Rights of the - The civil rights intended for the protection of a person accused of any crime, like the right of unreasonable search accused and seizure. right against curel, etc. 9. Social and - Rights which are intended to insure the well-being and the economic security of the individual Economic rights 10. Statutory - Laws promulgated by the law-making body and, consequently, may be abolished by the same body rights
