We seek a motivated and Client service oriented Project Coordinator to join Director, Effective Building Engi…
our Building Science and Restoration Consulting practice. Reporting to the Toronto, Canada Area
Director of Building Science, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for
the delivery of consulting projects, including condition surveys, Send InMail
investigations and the specification and management of building restoration
projects.

Responsibilities: Seniority Level


Mid-Senior level
Manage consulting projects for public and private Clients from project
initiation and conceptual design, to implementation and final project Industry
completion Construction, Architecture & Planning
Perform site investigations and evaluations of existing building systems

Develop repair programs and present viable rehabilitation scenarios to

Clients through comprehensive engineering reports, studies and

Coordinate with other engineering and architectural disciplines as Consulting, Engineering

Skills/Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Science, or Architectural


Science
0 to 3 years professional experience in a Building Science capacity /
consulting engineering
Enrollment in RCI and/or OBEC (BSSO) continuing education an asset
Aptitude for working with existing facilities and comfortable working at
heights
Valid Canadian Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle for travel
to Project sites throughout Ontario

Strong Dedication to Client service – you take pride in your work and the
quality of service you deliver to Clients
Building Science Aptitude - you have a well-rounded understanding of
building science and construction, and a passion for investigating and
solving building problems.
Solid Project Management Skills – you are comfortable managing
multiple projects simultaneously that are at different stages in the project
lifecycle
Excellent Verbal, Written and Visual Communication Skills – you have
experience writing and presenting comprehensive engineering reports
and developing technical specifications, complete with CAD drawings and
details
