Greetings:

competent Vice-Mayor, Hon. Jeffrey Malazo, to the equally

Delfin J. Sibal and to his equally equipped SCHOOL
MANAGERS in attendance, co-mentors, visitors, friends,
Ladies and gentlemen.. welcome to the part 2 DRUM AND LYRE
competition ……of our today’s 6th day fiesta presentation …. Our Cultural
Day…..sponsored by the Department of Education.

This is indeed, again a thrilling competition, an exciting moment to

witness …. talented drum and lyre corps from 6 different competing schools,
taught and trained by expert trainers .

Once gain we will be fascinated on how talented are the pupils of San
Manuel District….They are trainable and highly competitive… they stand out …
in most competitions….As a matter of fact, the two time champion in the SM
Rosales yearly Drum and Lyre Corps competition is the DLC from our district…..

(There they are…)

I know everybody is already excited and curious to the drill, choice of

sounds, timing, and newest formations that will be shown by the DLC from 6
competing schools.

So not to prolong your agony of excitement, let’s formally open our

program
I. For us to be guided accordingly, let’s humbly ask the presence and blessings of
our almighty Father, to the success of our today’s affair. May I call in .. Sir
Albert Panelo, a teacher from SVES, to lead us our prayer. This will be followed
immediately by the Singing of the National Anthem, Mdam Gretchen Lopez, our
District Music Leader ,conducting.

III. For us to feel the cordiality of this affair… May I call in …our well
regarded , highly commendable PSDS…. Mr. Delfin J. Sibal.. to extend us a warm
welcome.

IV. For us to be guided accordingly with the mechanics of this competition, MR.
MANOLITO P. MALICDEM, ESP – I of San Felipe E/S and at the same time our
PESS District Consultant , will equip us through ORIENTATION.

V. This competition will not be completed without the presence of our prestige
board of judges.

And to do the proper introduction , May I call in MDM ROWENA M.

VI…. Everything is well said and explained…..everything is set… ARE ALL the
GROUP CONTENDERS READY………

So there’s no more reason to prolong your agony of excitement..

Last but not super surely the least to captivate judges attention and vote… is group
no. 6.

There you have seen all the performance of our group contenders…. Will
your vote be the same as the vote of our judges…Let’s wait and see.

Let’s wait as the judges carefully study and analyze the scores.
Looking at their faces, you will notice that they are having a
hard time on choosing the best.

Group contestants, I know that the good and quality

performance that you have just showed a while aBACK is the result
of your hard work, patience, efforts and untiring practices….. ,from
all us who have watched you, you are all the best and we are all proud
of you.

It’s just that, in any competition, there is always a winner. And

for those, who happened not to be on the top list, there is always hope
and next time..
