Yantai Longyuan Power Technology Co., Ltd. is SmartBurn, LLC (formerly the Combustion Services
engaged in research, development, manufacturing,
and implementation of technologies for coal-fired
boilers that reduce operating costs and reduce
emissions. It’s Plasma Ignition and Combustion
Stabilizing (PICS) technology has been installed on
more than 600 coal-fired boilers (about 270 GW) in
China and other countries. The company was established
in 1998 as a subsidiary of China Guodian Corporation,
one of the five major power generation groups in
China. In 2010, a portion of Yantai Longyuan shares
(SHE:300105) were sold in an IPO in the Growth
Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange
with an initial market value of over RMB7.48 billion
(USD1.1 billion).
