REHABILITATION MODEL OF “ORANG DENGAN GANGGUAN JIWA

( ODGJ ) COMMUNITY BASED IN DIY

ABSTRACT
Based on medical research (Riskesdas) in 2013, occupies the first rank DIY
province with the highest number ODGJ Indonesia. Meanwhile, the recurrence rate of mental
disorders, especially in DIY alone reached 60%. Within this context, various policies have
been initiated by the government including the passage of legislation mental health no. 18 in
2014, health insurance (Jamkesmas, Jamkesda, BPJS), including the orientation of mental
health services are no longer focusing on the building (RSJ) but out of the building (the
community). Related to this, the researchers are very keen to implement the " Rehabilitation
Model of ODGJ Community-Based " so as to improve the ability ODGJ which in turn can
reduce recurrence and can live independently as well as useful.
The purpose of this research is to know the effect of rehabilitation ODGJ model of
community-based health centers in the region Gamping II, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This type of
research is a quasi experimental "without pre-posttest control group design". Samples were
taken as a whole that meets the criteria of a 15 ODGJ. After statistical test nonparametric
Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test of significance obtained 0.001 (<0.05).

The results showed that the ability ODGJ before being given a community-based
rehabilitation programs is still low (46.7%), and after 1.5 months of rehabilitation given its
ability to tingat moderate majority (53.3%) and the high category also increased. 6 ODGJ
indicator of the ability of the most visible is the increase in the social aspect, namely from
passive to active (a score of 1.4 to 2.0). Calculation Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, then the
value of Z obtained at -3.421 with p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) of 0.001 which is less than
the critical limit of 0.05 studies so that a decision is to accept the hypothesis H1 or which
means that there are significant differences between groups pretest and posttest. Soewadi
(2003 in Susana, 2011) stated several factors that lead to recurrence of a mental disorder,
namely, lack of family support, low social support, as well as the weak capacity of self
defense against stressors including taking medication noncompliance.
Conclusion The significant difference between the mean score ODGJ ability before
and after rehabilitation ODGJ community-based, so no influence ODGJ model of
community-based rehabilitation to increase the ability of ODGJ.
