Letter of Recommendation :Theresa Kelly

To whom it may concern,

I have worked with Theresa Kelly for 6 months in a collaborative teaching setting in the 10th
grade English class. The scheduling at our high school allowed for 90 minutes block with 4
block a day. During the time spent in the classroom Ms. Kelly displayed strong qualities of
content understanding and classroom management. Ms. Kelly worked well with others in the
department to create lesson plans and design differential instruction for students who were
performing at varying levels. The student in her classes had a strong relationship with her as they
felt that she was able to relate them on a personal level. When working in the collaborative
setting Ms. Kelly was responsive to positive critiques and was willing to change lessons when
the students did not understand the material being taught. Ms. Kelly is a pleasure to work with.
She comes to school everyday ready to teach and engage with her students. She is always on
time and punctual with her lessons and classroom management. In addition to teaching 10th
grade, Ms. Kelly is also very passionate about teaching Journalism. She encourages all of her
students to try their best and work to their full potential. If I were to hire an English teacher Mr.
Kelly would be a sure bet.
