There is currently no supported upgrade path from OBIA 7.x to OBIA 11.x

Before performing any upgrade please ensure you have reviewed the relevant documentation and performed all
the pre-requisites. Taking particular care that each component is the correct version required. As with any major
modification to your application ensure you also have a valid backup.

The only current supported upgrade to this version is from 11.1.1.8.1 PB6 and 11.1.1.9.1

From 11.1.1.8.1

There are 2 valid approaches:

1. If you have done a data load on an existing instance and therefore do not want to run a full load again on any of your data then you
can adopt the following path:-

Upgrade Path 11.1.1.8.1 -> 11.1.1.8.1 PB3 -> 11.1.1.8.1 PB6 -> 11.1.1.9.2

2. You can go directly from OBIA 11.1.1.8.1 to PB6, ONLY if you haven't done a data load on an existing instance warehouse, OR you
do not want to upgrade any of your data

Upgrade Path 11.1.1.8.1 -> 11.1.1.8.1 PB6 -> 11.1.1.9.2

NOTE: In both approaches Oracle strongly recommends you go through the Readmes for each BIAPPS 11.1.1.8.1 Patch Bundle to
help you avoid a complete data reload. They also include a list of fixed issues.

The Upgrade of BI Applications 11.1.1.9.1 to version 11.1.1.9.2 consists of upgrading the following components, repositories (schema

Note: There is no new content in 11.1.1.9.2 as compared to 11.1.1.9.1. Hence there is no data warehouse (schema and data) upgrade.
