WHAT IS IT LIKE?

why it occurred
Kata benda dan kata ganti yang menyebutkan orang, benda, atau binatang tertentu (bukan
secara orang misalnya, Mr.Donovan, my cat, I, the policeman);
Kata kerja yang menunjukkan kegiatan atau tindakan misalnya, run, felt, met, climbed;
Kata sambung yang menunjuikkan urutan kegiatan atau tindakan, misalnya, then, next, latter,
before;
Kata keterangan waktu dan tempat misalnya, on Friday, at that time, in the harbour, next to
the building;
Kata sifat yang digunakan penutur untuk memberikan komentar serta penilaian terhadap hal-
hal yang terkait dengan kejadian atau peristiwa tersebut, misalnya, wonderful, sad,
unfortunate.
Generic structure:
Orientation : Introducing the participants, place and time.
Events : Describing series of event that happened in the past. where the recount
is told in chronological order (the order that the events happened).
Reorientation : It’s optional. Stating personal comment of the writer to the story. A
concluding paragraph (Impression, suggestion, feeling). where the writer or speaker can
give personal opinions about the topic or event. The writer or speaker may also comment
on how this event or topic may affect other things in the future. You may also include
other people's opinions or quotes on the topic or event.
LANGUAGE FEATURES
Written in the past tense because they tell about something that has already happened.
Recounts can also include the speaker's or writer's personal thoughts on the event or topic.
