Philosophy 5: MEDIEVAL PHILOSOPHY. Major philosophical ideas from

Philosophy 6: METAPHYSICS. Nature of metaphysical inquiry, various

Philosophy 8: MODERN PHILOSOPHY. Major philosophical ideas from the

Philosophy 9: PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE. Nature of scientific inquiry, problems of

demarcation, explanation, prediction, concept of formation and validation. 3 hours a

Philosophy 10: PHILOSOPHY OF RELIGION. Nature of religious experience,

Philosophy 11: PHENOMENOLOGY AND EXISTENTIALISM.

The phenomenological movement in contemporary German and French-philosophies
with emphasis on the writing of Husserl, Heidegger, Sartre and Merleau-Ponty. 3 hours a

Philosophy 12: ETHICS. Problems and theories of moral values. 3 hours a week

Philosophy 13: SOCIAL AND POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY. Problems and theories

Philosophy 14: CONTEMPORARY PHILOSOPHY. Major philosophical ideas from the

Philosophy 15: LEGAL PHILOSOPHY. Theories about the nature of law and legal
reasoning, as well as issues on the relationship between law, morality and society. 3hours
