SPCFC EXECOM MEETING FEB HIGHLIGHTS

Forthcoming Activities:
1. Lenten Retreat: Liturgical (EM, Choir, Altar Servers, Lecom) – March 3, 2018 7pm
Arabia Hall
• Attendance is compulsary for this will be pre-requisite for the liturgical ministry to
serve.
• Implementation will be reviewed by the SPCFC Execom and Music Ministry
Coordinators.
• Each coordinator needs to prepare their own attendance for all their members,
actual attendance checking will be done and members need to sign in the
attendance sheet on the day of the retreat.
• Signed attendance sheet will be submitted to the SPCFC at the closing of the
retreat.
2. March 16- Parish 10th year anniversary, high mass, so far no other celebration
discussed.
3. March 22, 2018 – Mass will start at 7pm, due to Malayalam event, choir needs to
review if there are some song not to be sung, to be finalized.

Emergency/Safety Protocol:

1. Each unit needs to be responsible and looking for their own safety. ( this will be
discussed during the monthly meeting of all choir coordinators).

Calendar of Big Events /Ministry Celebartions:

1. Anniversary of each unit and other big events need to be submitted to SPCFC

Action Items for SPCFC: Submit your anniversary date per unit for references and to be
put in our Music Min Calendar for 2018

Lenten Season/Triduum Celebrations:

1. Palm Sunday – March 22-23

• Thursday – CFC (normal mass) Liturgy will all happen inside main church –
Hossana
• Friday – SHOJC- High mass – Liturgy will start outside the main church
 • Line up of choir assigned Thursday and Friday need to submit to SPCFC Music
Min Coordinator
• Logistics outside church will be monitored by CFC

2. Holy Thursday- March 29, 2018

• Choir assigned TLC event – Parish grounds
• Line up of choir assigned need to submit to to SPCFC Music Min Coordinator
• Psalm will be sung by choir member
• Apostles to be given by choir – 1 person - assigned to unit STO.NINO ( it may
come from the choir itself or from outside
• Need to submit the name and contact number of the apostle, criteria male
submission will be on March 2, 2018
• Recollection of Apostles will be on March 16, 2018 after Tagalog Mass, 9-
10:30am

3. Good Friday –March 30, 2018

• Tagalog Mass- LNB Main church, 8:00 pm
• Psalm will be sung by Lecom member
• Station of the cross - @ 6:45 choir assigned - EL Shaddai and Divine Mercy
Songs will be sung only in between station maybe chorus part of GOD Mercy and
Compassion or any song preferred by choir
• Line up for these activities need to be submitted to the SPCFC Coordinators
• Station no. 13 Reader was assigned to choir – Sagrada needs to submit one
name to represent choir; Submission of name and contact number – March 2,
2018

4. Easter Celebration – March 31, 2018

• Lead – SHOJC
• Musicians- SHOJ, EL Shaddai, St. Francis Choir, St. Jude and SLRC
• Grand choir – SPCFC Music Min
• Exultet will be sung by the Choir Member
• Psalmist- 2 from Lecom
• Alleluya- from Choir
• Psalms will be revised and make more lively and majestic
