SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This chapter discusses the summary of findings, conclusions and

recommendations of the study presented.

Summary of the Findings

The main objetice of this study is to know the accouting student;s evaluation of
internship experiences from a skills perspective in University of Batangas Lipa Campus.
Specifically, this sought to answer the following specific questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents?

1.4 Name of Company worked in

2. What is the Top 3 most applied Technical Skill during internship experience of the BSA
Students?

3. What is the Top 3 most applied Soft Skill during internship experience of the BSA
Students?

4. Which area of work will most likely give a good internship experience that effectively
uses the Technical Skill and Soft Skill?

4.1 Public

4.2 Private

4.3 Government
 This study will employ two research designs – descriptive and evaluative types of
research designs. Descriptive design will be used to describe meaning of technical
and soft skills under accounting field given for they will be the bases for the students
to evaluate their internship experience. There were total of 50 respondents which 26
of it worked for private institutions and the 24 from public who answered the prepared
questionnaires of the researchers.

The survey questionnaire will This will discuss two category of skills to easily
evaluate the accounting students’ internship experiences. These two are technical
skills and soft skills.

For the assessment, the researchers will provide specific statements that
correspond to the given data. The questionnaire is divided into three (3) parts. Part I was
used in generating the basic Information or demographic profile of the students, Part II
was used to evaluate the Technical skills, and Part II was used to evaluate the Soft skills.

The statistical treatments applied in the study includes the frequency and percent
distribution in .........., the simple weighted mean was used in ......., and t-test was used
to ...........

Findings

In the sequence of specific problems presented, the following are the salient
findings:

1.3 Area of Work. Out of 50 respondents, 26 took their internship in private entities
and with total of 24 from public institutions where 15 are from public companies and
9 are from government agencies.
