Fine gold in bars, cast by a refiner and kept in a depository institution, both of which accredited
by BM&FBOVESPA.

Brazilian Reals (BRL) per gram to three decimal places.
3. Tick size
BRL 0.001 per gram.
5. Contract size

6. Day trade
Buy and sell transactions for daily settlement (day trade) are accepted as long as they are
executed in the same trading session, by the same investor (or local), intermediated by the same
commodities brokerage house and registered by the same clearing member. The results obtained
from these trades are cash settled on the business day after their execution.
7. Settlement conditions
The seller shall physically settle by delivering 0.225 of a gram of gold contained in 250 gram or
1 kilogram gold bars, assaying not less than .999 fineness, or in 100 or 400 troy ounce gold
bars, assaying not less than .995 fineness, or in fractions of these bars held in a deposit account
with BM&FBOVESPA’s book-entry custody service.
The buyer shall cash settle on the business day following the trading session transaction, with
the value calculated by the following formula:
𝑉𝐿 = 𝑃 × 0.225
where:
𝑉𝐿 = the cash settlement value per contract;
𝑃 = the price contracted per gram.
8. Auto match
Registered orders that are not cancelled by the close of the day’s trading session will be auto
matched at the day’s closing price. Outstanding orders will be matched against
BM&FBOVESPA to the limit of 125 grams per customer. The price base will be the day’s
closing price, in accordance with the following criteria:
- 99.7% of the closing price, where BM&FBOVESPA is the buying central counterparty;
- 100.3% of the closing price, where BM&FBOVESPA is the selling central counterparty.
The day’s closing price is considered, for auto match purposes, as the weighted average of
trades executed in the last 15 minutes of the trading session for the spot gold contract 250 grams
(round lot).
9. Trading costs
• Basic commission rate
Regular and day trading: 0.4%.
The basic commission rate, subject to a minimum value established by the Exchange, is
calculated on the value of the trade.
