Significance: My Topic is relevant because:

The Cricket in India rooted in first recorded match in 1751 in British times. Therefore, the

colonial time game still gaining the fame makes my topic refers to knowledge gain about recent

time attraction of people for cricket in India.

My Working Research Question or Hypothesis is:

Cricket in India is now more than a game. The obsession of Cricket in India is now transforming

it as national identity.

My preliminary research shows me this about my topic:

My preliminary research shows me that India has had lots of ways to build its image on

international grounds about its cricket passion. The launch of Indian Premier League was one of

the steps. The international format of the national league gained much fame in no time. Now the

IPL is the way to show that power transition in international sports.

I hope my focused research will provide answers to these questions about my topic:

compared to people’s interest towards it?

Is the ionization of Cricketers in India is the reason for the inclusion of new talent in this game in
