Create Malfunction report, Plan job, start work and record finding
To analyze the causes of a particular breakdown more closely and calculate the distribution of
duration of the various breakdowns or repairs
View important key performance indicators, such as number of breakdowns observed, mean
time between repair, and mean time to repair
To execute material availability checks for several maintenance orders at runtime or schedule
these checks as a recurrent batch job
This simplifies the creation of maintenance call objects for maintenance plans, especially if you
need to schedule large numbers of maintenance plans.
Request maintenance or repairs to be done with bar code, attachment, details, history and
supervisor can assign this to responsible person
Enables you to copy the geospatial data of related objects manually or automatically while
creating a new maintenance object on the SAP Web UI for Plant Maintenance. When you install
technical objects, the geospatial data of the superior technical object is copied to the installed
object.

As a maintenance technician, you sometimes need to document that you performed maintenance
work that was unexpected because it was not triggered by a notification or order. When you confirm
your work, the system then creates an order and releases it
In Plant Maintenance the process up to the blocking and deletion of personal data might look as
follows:
Once all existing warranties for a given customer/vendor expire and the customer/vendor is not
used in any opened maintenance order, maintenance/service notification or construction measure,
the business activities with the customer/vendor are deemed completed
With this feature you can display and search for EAM objects, which have assigned geospatial data,
on the SAP Geographical Enablement Framework maps. This way you can find the EAM objects that
are relevant for your work, without having to know their IDs or names. You can assign geospatial
data to equipments, functional locations, maintenance notifications, and maintenance orders. When
you assign geospatial data to orders or notifications, you can also copy the geospatial data of their
related technical objects.
