Course

What is a bot? Why does everyone want one? How do they work?
How fast can I build one? Join the hype and get answer to all of
these questions in this course. We will teach you how to build your
own chatbot from scratch using regular programming languages.

Lectures in English, but mentors can speak to students in Spanish

When you arrive, let reception know you are here for the Wizeline AI
Academy. Please bring an ID with you. See you at the entrance, otherwise
they will guide you to the 6th floor for the course.

• Laptop power charger

Before the Course


For the crash course we're asking you to bring your environment setup for
running web applications in whatever programming/scripting language you
prefer. The crash course will be implemented using Javascript in NodeJS
> 6, however there will be mentors that can help you with a wide variety of
languages if you'd rather take that road.

Pre-requisites
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be a software engineer currently
• Knows how to run a server in their language
• Basic knowledge in Web services
• Own your own laptop with dev environment set up, bring it to class
• Text Editor or IDE (Sublime, Atom, Vim,Visual Studio, WebStorm, etc)
• NodeJS + Express / Web Server Installed (You are free to use whatever
you want)
• Postman/CURL

Case studies of FB Messenger Bots from Alonso Fernández (Guest
