Highway/railway alignments, Airport planning and site selection,
surveys and investigation, Geometric design of highway, railway and
airfield elements.
 Pavement materials and design of highway, airfield pavements
and railway track: Pavement/track materials and testing, Material
characterization for design, Design of highway and airfield
pavements, Structural design of the railway track, Highway/track
construction, maintenance and rehabilitation.
 Highway, railway and airport traffic operations: Traffic
characteristics and surveys, Highway, rail and air traffic capacity,
Highway/railway signaling and control systems, Air traffic control
