Liberty Bell: 1753

The Liberty Bell is a well-known symbol of freedom in the United States.


This historic bell is located in Philadelphia
It is very heavy and weighs about 2000 pounds
Liberty Bell rang when the Continental Congress signed the Declaration of
Independence in 1776.

American Flag: 1777


The first U.S. flag was designed in 1777, but the flag has been changed many
times since then

The flag consists of 13 alternating red and white stripes that represent the 13
original colonies, and 50 white stars on a blue field, with each star
representing a state. The colors on the flag represent:

 Red: valor and bravery


 White: purity and innocence
 Blue: vigilance, perseverance, and justice

Bald Eagle: 1782


The bald Eagle is a large and powerful bird with a white head and tail.
Bald Eagle was chosen the national bird of the USA in 1782.
It symbolizes strength, courage, freedom and inmortality.
The eagle can be seen on the Great Seal of the United States, on the
Presidential Seal, in the logos of Federal agencies, on coins and paper
money, and on postage stamps.
White House: 1792

The White House is the name given to the official home and workplace of
the President of the United States. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
in Washington, D.C. Every President except George Washington has lived
there. It was built between 1792 and 1800.

Star-Spangled Banner: 1814


The “Star-Spangled Banner” is the national anthem, or national song, of the
United States. The words are from a poem that was written by Francis Scott
Key in 1814

What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight

Statue of Liberty: 1886

The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of freedom and is located in New York on


Liberty Island.
It was a gift from the people of France
It is 46 m tall
The torch in her right hand represents liberty and her crown contains seven
spikes which symbolizes the seven seas and continents

Americans are open, gregarious and hospitable. Their style life is generally
relaxed and informal
Never go to someone’s house without calling first to see if it is convenient.

Americans are quite conservative and they are also very patriotic, and are
proud of their country and culture.

Americans smile a lot. All the time even at strangers.

Americans only hug and Kiss family members and close Friends in social
occasions, as these are considered intimate gestures
Observe a "personal space" around people. When talking to someone, do not
stand very close.

Americans value punctuality and view lateness as a sign of rudeness.

Americans are fastidious about their personal higiene. If there are certain
things that they will not tolerate , it is body odor, unwashed hair and bad
breath.

When saying goodbye, Americans like to say “see you later” or “lets catch
up”. This is meant to be a pleasantry so do not take it literally.

There’s a long tradition of tipping in the US


In general you will be expected to add a 15 to 20 % tip to your bill.
Wait staff might occasionally stop by your table to ask how your meal is.

I don´t like talk you about the cities or places that we know like New York
or Los Angeles. I like talk you about other places that maybe they aren´t
popular but they are beautiful.
- Seattle: is a good option for travel in family because is most cheap than
other cities.
- Anchorage: is the biggest city in Alaska.
- National Park of Yellowstone: is a symbol of the natural beauty.
