7. Transported - Membrane proteins transmit signals during cell-to-cell communication, transport
molecules into and out of cells.
Converted- The conversion of the information in RNA into protein represents a translation of the
information into another language that uses quite different symbols.
Synthesized- Proteins are always biosynthesized from N-terminus to C-terminus. The size of a
synthesized protein can be measured by the number of amino acids it contains and by its total
molecular mass.
Metabolism- Enzymes are flexible proteins that change shape when they bind with substrate molecules.
8. I realized if I'm not working out on a daily basis, than I would have to lower my calories. But since I'm
burning about 1,000 calories a day, and I'm consuming between 1,500-2,000 I think that I am healthy. If
I was not exercising everyday, I think that I would have to lower my calories.
