The testimony provided during that deposition also directly implicates the Commissioner of the New York City Human Resources Administration and members of the Mayor's Community Affairs Unit. Applicable laws violated by members of the NYPD and Community Affairs Unit acting on the Mayor's behalf at those public meetings include New York State's Open Meetings Law, 18 U.S.C. §241, 18 U.S.C. §245, New York State Penal Code § 175.25 (Tampering in the 1st degree), New York State Penal Code § 195 (Official misconduct), assault, First Amendment retaliation, selective enforcement in violation of the 14th Amendment, and stalking. Also, though such abuse was reported to the New York Daily News and New York Post previously as noted in this transcript, neither of these organizations chose to share this information with the public that may have otherwise caused such abuse from continuing to occur.
