Attestation of EC marking in progress according to ETAG 018 Parts 1 and 3

Dear Sir,

The company EURISOL has launched a process with EFECTIS France, in order to obtain European Technical
Assessment and EC marking for its ranges of product ISOTHERM / ISOFLAM / ISOFLAM SM / ISOGAINE according to
ETAG 018 Part 1 and Part 3 (European Technical Approval Guideline) used as European Assessment Document.

Initial tests on the reaction to fire, fire resistance and durability aspects were carried out by Efectis France, SINTEF
NBL and SINTEF B&l (Norway)

The fire protective products ISOTHERM / ISOFLAM SM / ISOGAINE meet the requirements set out by ETAG 018 Part 1
and Part 3, according to the type of substrate to be protected; thicknesses of the fire protective products to be
applied are shown in the Procès-Verbaux and classification reports issued by Efectis France.

The tests and evaluations of performance confirm the following conditions of use:

• Reaction to fire classification A1

• Exposure conditions type Y: semi-exposed including the temperatures less than 0°C, not exposed to the rain
with limited exposition to UV
• Fire resistance, intended use
- Type 1: Fire protective products as a horizontal membrane protection
- Type 3: Fire protective products to protect load-bearing concrete elements,
- Type 4: Fire protective products to protect load-bearing steel elements
- Type 9: Fire protective products that contribute to the fire resistance of technical services assemblies in
buildings, (ISOGAINE)

The European Technical Assessment ETA is under preparation by SINTEF Building & Infrastructure (Norway).
