With warm greetings Course Coordinator started the 1st Course Coordinator meeting for the
Course PRIMARY MANUFACTURING PROCESSES. Detailed discussion held with the
following Course coordinator during the meeting:

Following are the Course outcome for MEC319 – Process Planning Cost and Estimation

CO1: Contrast the casting process, to classify the various casting processes and to identify the
various casting defects.
CO2: Explain the various welding, brazing and analyse the effect of thermal cutting process.
CO3: Illustrate the various bulk deformation processes.
CO4: Categorize the metal forming manufacturing processes.
CO5: Summarize the various plastic forming processes.

Course outcome and program outcome mapping are verified for CO and PO / PSO assessment
process. The CO – PO / PSO mapping for the course content is given below.

 During the discussion, the portion for Sessional Examination – I has been
finalized to cover CO1 and CO2.

 For Sessional Examination 1, it has planned to evaluate student performance on


achievement of CO1 and CO2.

 For evaluation, questions include 60% of CO1 and 40% of CO2.


 With this the meeting was conclude and next meeting was planned to conduct
after Sessional Examination 1.
