*Activity- kahoot! Quiz. students will determine which of the answer choices is
not a form of energy, by remembering the forms of energy.
Level of Bloom’s- Level 1: Remembering because it involves recalling
information.
TEKS- 6(A)“explore different forms of energy…”
SPED/ESL accommodations- allow students to have a paper copy and to go to
the learning lab and allow ESL students to use a translator.

Activity- Vocab practice. The students will get in a circle and pass a ball across
the class while describing in their own words how they would describe or explain
the word given to them.
Level of Bloom’s- Level 2: Understanding because this allows students to
explain their understanding of the vocab words.
TEKS- 6(A)“explore different forms of energy…”
SPED/ESL accommodations- Sped students may need assistance from a partner
and ESL students will get translated directions and they just need to try their best
because it’s not for a grade. If needed they can get help from a friend because
vocab can be really hard for ESL students.
No technology/printer alternative- No technology is needed.

*Activity-charades: one student at a time will be given a word and act it out in
front of the class and the other students will guess the object or word and the form
of energy.

Level of Bloom’s- Level 3: Application because the students are applying their
knowledge and using motions to describe their knowledge.
TEKS- 6(A)“explore different forms of energy…”
SPED/ESL accommodations- ESL students will get translated instructions and
sped students can have help from a fellow peer if needed.
No technology alternative- Technology is not needed.

Activity- Class will be split into two groups and on the whiteboard there will be a
T-chart. One group will write examples for renewable resources/energy and one

Activity- essay on why should solar panels be used.
