###

Founded by Charles Price Jones in 1897, the Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. commonly referred to as
COCHUSA shares a common early history with the Church of God in Christ (COGIC). However, in
October 1920, churches identifying with the Holiness division separated their denomination and charted
the Church of Christ (Holiness) USA in Mississippi. The denomination is divided into eight dioceses –
Eastern, North Central, Northern, Pacific North West, South Central, South Eastern, South Western, and
Western.
