1 Deputy Director (Programs)

 To execute, manage & implement program as per approved policy and to propose
improvements to the Director.
 To ensure execution of assigned work regarding financial matters as per approved policy.
 To ensure verification and authentication of data regarding level-wise school wise payment
as per enrollment upper limit and rates approved by the Board.
 To ensure timely payment release to all partner schools as per directives and approved
policy.
 To analyze monthly payment to prepare retention report and variance analysis.
 To ensure timely submission of payment release status report to Director.
 To assess the performance of team members and identify training needs for them.
 To prepare and propose budget as per yearly targets and keep track of budget utilization
 To ensure verification and authentication of concerned information provided to the
Competent Authority.
 To analyze monthly progress by providing task accomplishment reports to the Director.
 To ensure timely submission of updated DBMS and weekly updates.
 To analyze monthly progress of schools in terms of implementation of academic calendar.
 To submit data analysis report to Director regarding school related matters in light of
guidelines issued to partners.
 To ensure circulation of directives and other necessary communications as per approved
policy and report accordingly.
 To correspond with complainants, applicants and partners of Schools and take corrective
measure as directed.
 To coordinate with other departments in order to ensure circulation of schools record.
 To assess the performance of team members and identify training needs for them.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

2 Deputy Director (Admin)

 Handling and Care Taking of the Sub Office.


 Handling activities regarding acquisition of services and goods.
 Managing petty Cash Management of Sub-Office.
 Responsible for Hotel allocation and Bill Verification.
 Assisting in running of the Lahore Offices (Operational Tasks).
 Handling Sub-Office’s Car pool.
 Handling preparation of Contracts & Payment for Admin related tasks.
 Ensuring improvement in the work environment of PEF.
 Handling preparation of Budgets and Resource Planning.
 Handling overall management of:
• Utility Items
• Stationary Management
• Maintenance Tasks PEF’s Main and Sub-office
• Fixed Assets Management
• Annual budget preparation
• Events
 Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.

3 Deputy Director (Magazine Editor)

 To provide direction and concepts for preparation of kid’s magazine.


 Responsible for the editorial content of magazine.
 Proof read the magazine and ensure that it is ready to go to press for printing.
 To ensure timely publication and distribution of kid’s magazine on quarterly basis,
newsletter bi-annually, other publications.
 To supervise and manage the circulation of magazine to concerned schools, organizations,
book shops, libraries etc.
 Be able to work under pressure and capable to meet tight deadlines
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

4 Assistant Director (Content Writer / Researcher) (English)

 Ensure to write fresh content for magazine/ newsletter based on research and
brainstorming.
 Ability to write articles, script for videos.
 To ensure excellent grasp in English language- including exceptional spelling, grammar
and punctuation.
 Proof read the content and ensure, it is ready for approval from competent authority
 Be able to work under pressure and capable to meet tight deadlines.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

5 Assistant Director (Programs)

 Maintains all the records of partner schools, application processing, agreement signing,
monitoring reports, preparation of payment record etc.
 Monitors PEF schools as and when assigned by the Director.
 Prepares and incorporates of monitoring reports in program payments.
 Monitors Quality Assurance Tests.
 Prepares program monthly payments and assists Finance Section to the extent of monthly
payment checking.
 Provides support in the distribution of text books to partner schools.
 Prepares position holders’ data in PEC/Board exams of partner schools, data for teacher’s
honorarium/top schools, Presentations and any other data when required.
 Assists to organize District Coordination Meetings.
 Assists in program new phase launching from application handling to agreement signing.
 Telephonic complaints handling and informs Deputy Director regarding complaints for
further action.
 Communicates with partner schools as and when required.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the concerned official.

6 Assistant Director (IT) (Network Support Engineer)

 To assist in analyzing and determining customers business needs, current computer and
network systems technologies.
 To assist in monitoring and maintenance of organizational offices network/ infrastructure
up and running.
 To provide on-call support (Help Desk/Technical).
 Responsible for Installations, configurations and up gradation of operating systems and
software.
 To assemble and configure computer, monitors/LCD, network infrastructure and
peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware.
 To maintain up-to-date documentation for all implemented networks.
 To troubleshoots problems with computer systems, (hardware and software), email,
network and peripheral equipment problems & making repairs and corrections as and
when required.
 To assist in performing network maintenance and domain controller, Proxy server and
Email servers management.
 Implementing computer systems, software and networks which include defining complex
system requirements, determining system specifications, processes and working.
 Implementation of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, Domain Environment, Firewalls, Routers,
Cache/Proxies, NAT, and Open Source Based email servers in the organization when
required.
 To assist DD-IT in IT-infrastructure, development and maintenance.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

7 Assistant Director (IT) (Software Development)

 To create and document a conceptual and detailed design and write a code based on
conceptual description of the business logic.
 To design and development of database components as per requirement of software.
 To compile and write documentation of software development and subsequent revisions
inserting comments in the coded instructions.
 To facilitate with operational and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify
problems, suggest and implement changes.
 To perform or direct revision, repair or expansion of existing programs to increase operating
efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
 To consult with DD-IT/Operational team to define and resolve problems in running
software applications/programs as per the software requirement specification.
 To maintain confidentiality with regards to the information being processes, stored or
accessed.
 To test the developed application/component in the UAT/Test environments and deployed
on Production in consultation with DD-IT/DBA team.
 To take regular backups of the source code, database/database components, forms, and etc.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

8 Officer

 To provide assistance in record/data maintenance and up-dation.


 To provide support in maintenance of Database Management System for schools and
students.
 To provide assistance in order to ensure timely intimation and information dissemination
to all concerned officials.
 To assist in record maintenance of applicant/partner/twice failure and complainant schools
.
 To monitor assigned partner schools if required.
 To provide assistance in data maintenance and up-dation of record.
 To provide support in maintenance of Database Management System for voucher printing
 To provide assistance in order to ensure timely voucher printing.
 To assist in record maintenance of schools and students.
 To collect and compile reports of distribution of vouchers, monitoring of schools, printing
of vouchers.
 To follow-up the files and cases under process and prepare report.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

9 Officer (Graphic Designer)

 Ability to work an adobe photoshop, illustrator, in-design, Dreamweaver, in-page, website,


corel draw etc
 To review designs for errors before printing or publishing.
 Ability to make creative designs for social media sites.
 Incorporate the changes quickly recommended by the management into the final design.
 Be able to work under pressure and capable to meet tight deadlines.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.
10 Officer (Photographer/ Cartoonist)

 Ability to adjust apertures, shutter speeds and camera focus based on a combination of
factors such as lighting, field depth, subject motion, film type and film speed.
 Ability to capture high resolution photographs.
 To work on various latest photographic and video making techniques and equipments.
 Must have knowledge to prepare caption in Urdu and English on pictures and use image-
editing software such as photoshop or print shop pro.
 Ability to work adobe premiere pro for video editing
 To manage databank of photographs and videos date wise.
 Be able to work under pressure and capable to meet tight deadlines.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

11 Officer (Social Media Expert)

 Having knowledge to design online version of magazine and newsletter


 Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and
answering questions where appropriate.
 Must have knowledge how to resize video in good quality for uploading on social media
platforms like facebook, whatsapp, twitter and youtube etc.
 Must be aware latest techniques using in social medial.
 Responsible to publish posts on PEF social media sites on daily basis.
 Be able to work under pressure and capable to meet tight deadlines.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

12 Executive Assistant

 Assist in disseminating Circular/IOM.


 Assist in data entry.
 Assist in file maintenance and record updation.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

13 Office Assistant

 To assist the daily routine admin matters.


 To maintain clean environment in the Office.
 To ensure all sanitary related equipment is working in perfect order and report any defect
to Officer (Admin).
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.

14 Driver

 To ensure safe custody and smooth running of assigned official vehicles.


 To ensure cost-savings through proper use of vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily
vehicle logs, provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports.
 To ensures maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements
for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes and water levels, car
cleanliness on daily basis.
 To assist Executive Officer (Transport) in preparing of vehicle history report.
 To ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle logs, office
directory, vehicle tool kit and necessary spare parts in the assigned vehicle.
 Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor.
Important Note:
The appointment will be on contract basis for one year, extendable on the basis of performance. The
post carries competitive market based salary & other benefits. However in case of government servant
salary will be fixed as per prevalent government policy. Experience of unpaid jobs/freelancer,
internship, part time, teaching, work experience compulsory for degree program will not
be accepted. Experience of working in medium size/large size organizations will only be
considered. Test of shortlisted candidates will be conducted by PTS for the posts mentioned above.

 Candidates should fill the On-line Form carefully in the light of the Guidelines and Instructions
mentioned in the Advertisement. Candidate must send online submitted application in print
form duly signed on every page, along with latest CV, attested copies of CNIC and all academic
(Matric to the last degree along with mark sheets, equivalence certificate, Hafiz-e-Quran
certificate, merit certificate) and experience credential along with paid online deposit slip
(original) at the address given below via courier (by hand submission of application will not be
accepted) on or before March 21, 2018.
 Please submit your test fee Rs. 170/- through prescribed deposits slips (downloaded from PTS
website) on any online branch of UBL and HBL. Deposited amount is nonrefundable and
nontransferable.
 PTS will not be responsible for late receipt of applications sent through posts or by any other
courier services.
 Incomplete application/by hand submission of application forms will not be entertained.
 Candidates are not allowed to bring cell phones to the examination centers.
 Change of test center is not allowed, original CNIC and Roll No Slip is mandatory for test entry.
 Number of vacancies can be increased or decreased any time without any notice.
 Department have right to reject or cancel any application at any stage during recruitment
process.
 Shortlisting for test will be sole responsibility of PST. Queries related to shortlisting for test will
be dealt by PTS.
 PEF or PTS will not be responsible if any candidate is not shortlisted for test/interview due to
incomplete application or missing document.
 Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview as per approved criteria of PEF.
 Securing highest marks in test doesn’t merit any candidate to become shortlisted to be called
for interview
 Shortlisting criteria includes marks of test and educational profile both as explained under:
 For the post of Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Officer, Executive Assistant and Office
Assistant is as under:

Note: In all the above mentioned categories 05 additional marks shall be awarded to
