Blood Flow Through the Heart

1. Oxygen poor blood travels through the INFERIOR or SUPERIOR VENA CAVA (1st Road)

2. Deoxygenated blood enters the RIGHT ATRIUM (1st Room)

3. Blood passes through the TRICUSPID VALVE (1st Door)

4. Blood enters RIGHT VENTRICLE (2nd Room)

5. Blood moves through the PULMONARY VALVE (2nd Door) and enters the Pulmonary Artery

6. Blood is carried to the LUNGS where blood loses Carbon dioxide (CO2) and gains Oxygen (O2)

7. Oxygenated Blood enters Pulmonary Vein

8. Blood enters the LEFT ATRIUM (3rd Room)

9. Blood travels through the BICUSPID VALVE (3rd Door)

10. Blood enters the LEFT VENTRICLE (4th Room)

11. Blood moves through the AORTIC VALVE (4th door)

12. Blood travels through the AORTA and SYSTEMIC ARTERIES

13. Blood loses Oxygen (O2) and gains Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the systemic capillaries
