MEDIA RATE CARD

I. INTRODUCTION

The International Media Center is located at the Forbes and Taft Ballrooms, 3/F of Conrad
Hotel in Pasay City during the 30th ASEAN SUMMIT and RELATED MEETINGS from
April 26 to 29, 2017.

It contains facilities and services, including the International Broadcast Center, to meet
the requirements of both local and international media representatives during the
coverage of the week-long event.

The IBC captures and distributes live footages from events, to all accredited media to
ensure that information is delivered globally in a timely manner.

II. OPERATIONS

Date of Operations: April 26 – 30, 2017

Time of Operations: 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM (may be extended on special request)

III. APPLICATION FOR TECHNICAL AND SERVICES FACILITIES

All media organizations wishing to avail themselves of the facilities are kindly
requested to c omplete the specified application procedures on or before April 22, 2017,
Saturday, 5:00 PM (Manila Time).

Technical and Service Facilities:

A. International Broadcast Center (IBC) - Offers technical facilities to media

organizations including media booths and pool feeds, VandA circuits
combinations, standup positions, TV studios, and additional furniture and fittings
that the clients may need.

B. Satellite Service Providers (SSPs) - The IMC is accepting satellite service

providers that can be offered internationally and/or internal delivery of broadcast
materials by providing transmission facilities to broadcast media clients. Their
services include coordination, management and operations of client’s live
broadcast requirements from different locations.

C. Telecommunication Service Providers (TSPs) – Offers telecommunication facilities

including telephones, high speed internet connectivity (minimum of 10 Mbps) and
cellular and wireless communications to media clients.

Booking and Payment Procedures

Booking for technical and services facilities will be done online starting April 13, 2017.

Requirement for additional equipment, furniture and fittings are not included in the online
booking. They will be offered over the counter at the IMC.

BASIC MEDIA BOOTH
Basic individual lockable media booths with a nominal size of nine (9) square meters will
be available and may be rented from April 25 - 30, 2017.

The number of booths allocation may have to be adjusted depending on availability.

Additional equipment, furniture and fittings are also available for rent over the counter on-
site.

4 VandA lines are included in the basic media booth.

LIVE STANDUP POSITION
Elevated individual studio-type stand-up positions are available for booking at the IBC on a
daily and first come, first served basis. This includes VandA circuit to the Satellite Service
