SKILLS & TECHNIQUES:


Organic & hard surface modeling for low & high resolution characters, props, products & environments.
Proficient with all modeling surfaces & their tools. UV layout. Real world & abstract texture map creation for
games, film, and TV. Character rigging for bipeds, quadrupeds, multi-limbed creatures, props & vehicles.
Lighting & rendering with Maya software & Mental Ray. Experience with both large & small productions,
character design, shot layout, traditional animation skills, motion graphics. As a young adult I attended hands
on film & TV program for many years, learning all the areas traditional film & TV production.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
*2016-ongoing: Montclair State University/ Montclair, NJ ~ Adj. Professor ~ I am teaching
animation, lighting, & texture mapping. We use Autodesk Maya 2015/2016 & Adobe Photoshop, with hopes of
incorporating either Mudbox or MARI. Duties include teaching students the previously mentioned software &
principles how to think outside the box modeling/texturing/rigging & animation using
*2013-2015: Bloomfield College/ Bloomfield, NJ ~ Adj. Professor, Capstone Mentor, Tutor ~
Classes taught: Adv. 3D Animation, 3D Modeling, Computer Imaging (Photoshop etc.). My duties included
teaching 2nd & 3rd year students modeling/texturing/rigging & animation using Maya 2015 & Adobe Suite.
*2013: Resource Advantage Group, Inc./ Fairfield, NJ ~ 3d Generalist ~ My duties included taking 2d
Logos and building 3d models of them. Animating and exporting them. For iPad & smart phone use.

* 2012: National Television/SyFy/ New York City, NY ~ 3d Generalist ~ My duties included
modeling/texturing/rigging & animation on 2 different SyFy spots.
* 2011-2013: "Attifudes" Series/ Tulsa, OK (remote) ~ 3dGeneralist ~ My duties included
character design/development, character rigging, building props, animating 3 characters, render, comp 15-20
sec. animation.
* 2010-2011: Dillon Books LLC/ Pajama Gramma Project/ Denver, CO(remote) ~ Lead 3d ~
My duties included design/modeling/texturing/rigging an elderly female character & her satchel of books. Create
a modular rig, so all of her parts could be swapped out and used on other characters or altered easily. A 30-60
secs. promotional spot was the goal.
* 2011: Mechanism Digital/ New York City, NY ~ Animator ~ My duties included camera
animations for a medical iPad Application of the human eye.
* 2010: Neal Adams/Continuity Studios/ New York City, NY ~ 3d Generalist/Consultant ~ My duties
included implementing Maya into pipeline/modeling/texturing/created a blank adult rig for use on any project,
with open blend shapes to customize & conform to any character they need quickly.
*2009-2010: The Napoleon Group/ New York City, NY ~ 3d Department Lead ~ My duties included
assisting in the creation & running the Digital Pre-Vis. Dept. assigning & prioritizing tasks, prepping characters,
clothing, hair(hair rigs if needed), props & accessories, modeling/texturing /rigging/lighting/creating passes as
needed & rendering/recruiting artists as we grew. I represented the 3d Dept. at monthly company meetings
where I gave updates on the Dept. progress, strength's, weakness & suggestions for ongoing growth.
* 2008-2009: 321 Launch Studios/Charlex/ New York City, NY ~ 3d Artist ~ My duties included
modeling/texturing/rigging characters, props, and envs. with specific aesthetic needs from the Art Director.
Pitched my idea on changing the pipeline, to bake out ambient occlusion prior to texture painting. Adding
realism & depth, but also as a great starting point for a color map.
* 2008: Curious Pictures/Little Spirit(I.M.D.B.)/ New York City, NY ~ Modeler/Texture Artist ~
My duties included modeling/texturing/rigging environments and props, The entire inside of Macy's Dept. Store.
while working with Art Director to achieve desired look.
