A) Qualifications & Experience:

1. Assistant Professor: A first class or equivalent at the PG and UG degrees in Engineering
/Science/Management in the appropriate branch from any recognized University/Institution
with at least one year experience in Teaching/Industry/Research.
2. Associate Professor: A first class or equivalent at the PG and UG degrees in Engineering
/Science/Management in the appropriate branch with a Ph.D. degree from any recognized
University/ Institution with a minimum 6 years of experience in Teaching / Industry /
Research, of which at least 3 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor.
3. Professor: A first class or equivalent at the PG and UG degrees in Engineering
/Science/Management in the appropriate branch with a Ph.D. degree from any recognized
University/ Institution with a minimum 10 years of experience in Teaching / Industry /
Research, of which at least 4 years must be at the level of Associate Professor.

The requirements of minimum qualification and/or experience may be relaxed in the case of
Candidates with outstanding credentials, as evidenced by excellent publication record,
Research experience, etc.
Applicants not found suitable for higher positions may be considered for lower positions in the
same area of specialization.
Candidates appearing for Asst/Assoc. Prof. Positions need to take a written objective type test

Common Instructions for Teaching Staff:

1. Applications received in the “STANDARD FORMAT” are only be considered for further
processing.
2. Degrees obtained through Distance Education will not be accepted.
3. The Institute reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without
assigning any reason
4. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and
