Ans: The horizontal scroll bar is used to move a document left or right.

c) What is the use of Vertical Scroll Bar?

Ans: The vertical scroll bar is used to move a document up or down.

d) What is the difference between the Horizontal and the Vertical Ruler?

Ans: The difference between the horizontal and the vertical Ruler is- The horizontal ruler is

used to set the left and right margins of a document while the vertical ruler is used to set

the top and bottom margins of a document.

e) How to start a Word 2013?

Ans:To start a Word 2013, we have to click Start menu, then point to All Programs,

point to Microsoft Office 2013, and then to click Word 2013.

Ans: A multimedia computer system is one that can output two or more types of media, for
example, any combination of text, pictures, etc.

d) What does multimedia software mean?

Ans: Multimedia software is a software that can play and display all sorts of media, such as
music, videos, pictures, etc. For example,Windows Media Player.

e) What are the benefits of playing computer games?

Ans: The benefits of playing computer games are-
i) It improves a student’s reasoning skill, creativity, and memory.
ii) It can also make learning effective.

f) What do you understand by the term ‘animation’?

Ans: Animation refers to the process of making cartoon movies. In a cartoon movie a set of
drawings is run at a certain speed to show movement of the characters.
