To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this reference at the request of Matthew King. I have known Matthew for one year in my
capacity as a science teacher at White County High School. Matthew took my Zoology course and
excelled. Matthew exhibits organizational skills and a work ethic that is phenomenal. In the classroom,
Matthew always enriches classroom discussions with uncanny wisdom and the desire to know more.

Matthew has worked hard and completed two Career and Technology Pathways, Welding and Broadcast.
Matthew balances his classes with work at Ingles Grocery Store where he works as a bagger. After high
school Matthew plans to attend college and obtain a degree in mechanical engineering.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Matthew King. Matthew exhibits a strong work ethic,
resourcefulness, and has a high moral fortitude. If his performance in my class and at White County High
School is any indication of how he will perform in life, Matthew will be a positive addition to any
