Library Creating an environment for improving writing.
Shannon will share some strategies that have worked for him in
encouraging our students to write about their
learning. Although he will draw on his own context as an English Teacher,
teachers of all subjects may find this provides useful ideas to
improve the quality of writing in a range of subjects.

Building 5 Workshop D
Classroom 1/2 Preparing students for tests
Amanda will present some strategies she has used successfully in
her Maths classes that support students to learn new concepts and
skills. Although Amanda will draw on her own context as a Maths Teacher,
any subject teacher who includes testing or exams in their assessment
repertoire, may find this workshop useful.
