I am currently enrolled in Administrative Office Systems-Accounting
Specialization and will be enrolling in BAS-Applied Management in Fall
2019.
Describe your dominant personality type.
My dominant personality type is Conventionally by 23%. Conventional
personality type “have a strong need to feel secure and certain, follow
a routine, get things finished and take care of every detail. A
conventional personality type is neat, orderly and practical, and enjoys
working with data (facts, figures, and numbers) in structured settings”.

Describe the tasks, related professions, knowledge, and skills required for
one of the chosen occupations.
One of my chosen occupations is Professional Bookkeeper.
The tasks of Bookkeepers are to maintain complete records of
financial transactions of an undertaking and verify accuracy of
documents and records relating to such transactions. (123test)4
Some of these financial transactions are (but not limited to) recording
accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll,
prepaying and filing quarterly and yearly tax forms, etc…

The set of financial records disclosing the financial position of a
company at the end of a set period or of the accounting year. The
financial statements consisting of five parts which are the statement
of financial position, the statement of comprehensive income, the
statement of changes in equity (SOCE), the statement of cash flows
and notes.
 Depreciation
The accounting method of dividing the value of an asset over its
useful life for the allocation of cost per fiscal year and in parallel to
decrease the value of the asset from the accounts of the company.

The financial transactions recorded in accounting systems or books
of a company together with the metadata linked to the entry such as
the date, the amount, the accounts affected, and a description of
the transaction.

The methods and regulations involved in the process of accurate
bookkeeping.

The skills required for a Professional Bookkeeper are:
 “Attach accounting certificates to accounting transactions
 Collate and link documents such as invoices, contracts, and
payment certificates needed to back up the transactions made in
the accounting of the company.
 Perform balance sheet operations
 Make up a balance sheet displaying an overview of the
organization’s current financial situation. Consider income and
expenses; fixed assets such as buildings and land; intangible
assets such as trademarks and patents.
 Maintain financial records
 Keep track of and finalize all formal documents representing the
financial transactions of a business or project.
 Prepare financial statements
 Collect, entry, and prepare the set of financial records disclosing
the financial position of a company at the end of a certain period
or accounting year. The financial statements consisting of five
parts which are the statement of financial position, the statement
of comprehensive income, the statement of changes in equity
(SOCE), the statement of cash flows and notes.
 Follow the statutory obligations
