D. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson, students are expected to be able to find the information from a monolog about congratulation card by
listening to the short monolog and answering the questions related to the monolog about congratulation card given at least for 75%of
achievement.

1. What have you learned from :


a. This Class
In this class I got so many important experiences especially how to be a good future teacher. First, We are not allowed to
panic or nerveous when we teach, because it can make we do nothings important or screaming or forget the steps/material.
Second, We have to make “something” to make students easier to remember what we learn, like a “key” about that material.
Third, arrange words is for writing and finding the answer based on the text is for reading. In listening exercise will play 2
times, and evaluation just once. Fourth, do not call student to answer the question in front of the class one by one, it wasting
time. Fifth, We can give reinforecement with asking the other students “what did he say?” or “pease repeat what he said”. Sixth,
Appreciate your student’s participation even it is just a little thing, because just raising their hand to answer your question is
need a lot of bravery in their self.

b. From your Teacher


From my lecture especially, I have learned about :
1. We have to teach with loud and clear voice. Smile, eye contact, and jokes are also important to build connection with
students.
2. When we explain, we have to stand in front of the class, but when discussing we have to walk around the class to give
attention to students.
3. We can use hi hello to take the students attention, are you with me? Or something else like knocking whiteboard or claps
hand.
4. We have to mention grade and skill first.
5. I think everybody can make a really nice content/material to teach. But it is really different with the skill in giving reward
such as touch, thumbs up, and so on. I think it takes time to us if we want to mastery that one.
6. For caption, it is better to cover it first, let the student guess what will we learn today. Make an eyecatching caption like the
color, picture, especially for junior high school students.
7. Open the caption one by one to increase the student’s curiosity.
8. Dont let setting caption take too much time, we also have to make it simple and clear at the same time.
9. If we have just little time, make student work in pairs or group.

In my friends’ performance, I have learned about the strengths and weakneses as long as they performed.

No, I didn’t. Because I still have some weakneses, one for all is about my self confidence. From the weaknes, I tried to be
more confidence when performed in front of the class in the next session.

I think my self confidence, that need to be improved.

3. The funniest or the most memorable things from your lesson


The most memorable in my performance until now is about the time location. I thought for my students around 14 minutes
almost 15 minutes. It is such kind of get lucky for me, because I never set the time before I performed in front of the class.
