Incompetent personnel Ensure that works are fully aware of the task they are to perform.

Hot materials Ensure hands and body placement from hot materials. Use proper PPE for the job.

Flying Particles Ensure proper PPE is use when using chop saw (face shield, safety glasses, gloves, etc.) and barricade the
work area

Shock from broken cords Check all cords before use, make sure all equipment is certified and is the correct tool for the job

SIMOPS Proper communication among various work crews. Cordon off work area and place the appropriate warning
signs

Noise Hearing protection to be worn when using chop saw.

Metal Dust Work area well ventilated. Respiratory protection provided and used when natural dilution ventilation isn't
adequate. Employees educated on the hazards associated with exposure to metal dust.

Slips, trips and falls Be aware of surroundings and keep clear of edges. Sufficient clear access around the perimeter of the work
area. Area around work area not cluttered with stored materials and/or rubbish.
