I like how you started by having them sit on their boards.
Good use of Think Pair Share and whiteboards to engage all students cognitively in the minilesson.
Partner work was clear and directly in alignment with the objective/minilesson.
Steps for independent work is on board.
Students work well at their seats.
You walk around to help students/check for understanding.
You brought students back together for instruction at board.
You asked great questions (about the signs, etc.) – that were higher level. Use Think Pair Share to get them to
all think about and answer the question. They can even answer on their white boards. (Turn around fact
conversation).
