CHASSIS
The chassis or chassis, which should not be confused
with the body, consists of an internal structure that
supports and provides rigidity and shape to a vehicle or
object in its construction and use.
CHASIS
TYPES OF CHASSIS
There are two types of chassis for the manufacture of vehicles: independent chassis on
racks and self-supporting chassis or monocoque. In both cases the chassis supports
most of the vehicle, the suspended mass, which includes the engine, transmission, body,
exhaust system and steering box. The chassis is considered as the most significant
component of a car. It is the fundamental element that gives strength and stability to the
vehicle. It is an important part of the car that allows the assembly of the other
components. They are classified into chassis with brace, chassis without brace, chassis
with stringers, chassis without stringers, classic chassis, compact chassis and chassis
in organization.
AUTOMOBILE LIGHTING CIRCUIT
the lighting circuit: includes the battery, the chassis of the vehicle, all the lights, and
several switches that control its use. The lighting circuit is known as a single wire system,
since it uses the vehicle's chassis for the return.
The complete lighting circuit of a vehicle can be divided into individual circuits, each
having one or more lights and switches. In each of the different circuits, the lights are
connected in parallel, and the control switch is in series between the group of lights and
the battery.
The signaling lights, for example, are connected in parallel and are controlled by a single
switch. In some installations, a switch controls the connections to the battery, while a
selector key determines which of the two circuits is energized. The headlights, with their
high and low lights, are an example of this type of circuit.
In some cases, such as side lights, several switches can be connected in parallel, so
that any switch can be used to turn on the light.
When a wiring diagram is under study, all lighting circuits can be followed from the battery
through the ammeter to the switch (or switches) to the individual light.

They transform electrical energy into light energy, the characteristics of a lamp are mainly
voltage and power. The product of the voltage at the ends of a lamp by the intensity of
the current that runs through it expresses the electrical power absorbed by the lamp in
watts.
